Stunning solid oak wine rack, hewn from two matched halves of oak, in an oiled finish.

Capacity 12 bottles.

Because it is difficult to season such chunky cuts of timber evenly, the legs split naturally before assembly, and to make a feature of this, the edges are smoothed, and more splits are cut onto the timber to regularise their distributuion. Some movement should therefore be expected as the splits expand and contract. Naturally, every piece is unique and we are unable to predict or specify the number, size, distribution, or depth of the splits.

The oak used will include small knots (which may be filled or left open), variable grain structure and colour, and the maker will also randomly apply small cracks and splits to simulate movement in the solid oak.
