Denver solid oak dining table
Standard sizes or made to measure!
This 100% solid oak dining table features a 40mm top, legs cut from 12cm square oak, and is finished in a wonderfully scented citrus oil, which protects and enhances the timber.
Available in 5 standard sizes, or made to measure in any length from 122-505cm, and any width from 56-129cm. Square and extending versions are also available - please contact us with your requirements. The standard height is 76.5cm.
This very popular table is incredibly sturdy, and is made using thick cuts of timber which are especially selected for their character. The timber used for the legs is allowed to split naturally during the seasoning process. During production the edges are smoothed, and more splits are cut into the timber to regularise their distribution. Naturally, the number, size, distribution, or depth of the splits is unique to each table, and cannot be specified.
The construction is simple, but very strong, and the oak used will include small knots (which may be filled or left open), variable grain structure and colour, and the maker will also randomly apply small cracks and splits in the table top to simulate movement in the solid oak. The side rails are screwed and glued through from the table top, and the screw holes are plugged with an oak peg to make a feature of this joint.
As with any solid oak product, some movement should be expected as the timber reacts to ambient humidity changes.
Prices include delivery and assembly (the legs can be removed) within our free zone, and delivery is usually within 8 weeks (even for made to measure tables).
